Job summary

Qualient Technology Solutions UK Limited is seeking an experienced Java professional to lead development on large Spring-based projects in a UK environment. You will work with microservices, messaging, and REST/SOAP web services, and contribute to AWS deployments.

You'll be accountable for supporting live systems, diagnosing incidents, and delivering robust, scalable software in a Linux environment with Docker-based containerisation.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with large scale Spring-based Java projects.
• Experience in supporting live systems and diagnosing incidents.
• Experience with microservices, messaging, and distributed systems.
• Experience with web services - SOAP and RESTful.
• Good knowledge of containerisation (Docker).
• Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit and related tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD: Maven, GIT, Jenkins, SonarQube.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain large-scale Spring-based Java applications.
• Support live systems and diagnose incidents in production.
