Job summary

Bank of America in Bromley is seeking a Senior Java Developer for its fast‑paced EFX front-office team. You will build real-time pricing and auto-hedging services, review code with traders, and participate in Agile ceremonies in a high‑performance environment.

You’ll work with ultra-low-latency tech and liaise with Quantitative Strategies Group, market access, dashboards, and price distribution teams to deliver strategic pricing capabilities for 2026.

Qualifications

• Strong Java server-side development experience.
• KDB / Q experience essential.
• Pricing or algo-trading background helpful.
• Excellent communication with tech management and traders.
• Experience across the full SDLC and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop realtime, low-latency pricing services for FX Spot, Swaps pricing and NDF auto-hedging.
• Develop new features and enhancements to existing pricing and auto-hedging services for Spot and NDF.
• Update existing codebase for external venue upgrades and regulatory requirements.
• Fully engage with the Agile SDLC.
• Collaborate with Quantitative Strategies Group to review code and enhance backtesting capabilities.
• Solve problems independently, manage workload, and drive tasks to completion.
