Job summary

Square One Resources is looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our client team in Burgess Hill. The role is a 12-month initial contract with 3 days per week in the office and the rest remote.

The candidate will work on Java microservices, Spring Boot, and Kafka-based architectures with Oracle and PostgreSQL/Couchbase backends. We welcome applicants with strong Java and microservices experience, plus familiarity with streaming and database technologies.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java microservices and Spring Boot architecture.
• Experience with Apache Kafka integration.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Couchbase is a plus.
