Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a Senior Java Consultant in London, UK for a hybrid, full-time role. The candidate will join a banking technology team building high-performance applications with a focus on low-latency systems.

Required are strong Core Java skills, expertise in concurrency, and experience in equity or fixed income domains, with a preference for algo-trading exposure and financial services background.

Qualifications

• Strong Core Java development experience.

• Equities or Fixed Income experience preferred.
• Low-latency experience across asset classes considered.
• Financial services experience highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance Java services for banking applications.

We are looking for a strong Java Consultant with excellent technical capabilities to join a banking technology team working on high-performance applications.

Key requirements:

• Strong Core Java development experience

• Equities or Fixed Income experience preferred
• Low-latency experience across other asset classes will also be considered
