Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a Senior Java Consultant to join our banking technology team in London with a hybrid working model.

You will leverage Core Java, concurrency, and low-latency development to build high-performance applications in financial services, with equities/fixed income experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong Core Java development experience.
• Excellent knowledge of concurrency and multithreading.
• Experience building high-performance / low-latency applications.
• Equities or Fixed Income experience preferred.
• Low-latency experience across other asset classes will also be considered.
• Strong software engineering and problem-solving skills.
• Financial services experience highly desirable.
• Prior algo-trading or pricing experience in any asset classes.
