Job summary

Situations Vacant Ltd in Greater London is seeking a Java Specialist to join our Oracle CX Cloud Practice, focusing on design, development and implementation of Java/J2EE solutions integrated with Oracle CX Cloud applications.

You will work in a wider team to deliver elegant, scalable enterprise applications, mentor peers, and contribute to architecture, API design and data modelling. A competitive salary and growth opportunities are offered on cutting-edge projects.

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of experience developing Java/J2EE enterprise applications.
• Experience implementing APIs and building proxy Java applications for integrating enterprise apps.
• Experience in software architecture and coding modular, scalable applications.
• Oracle ADF experience is an advantage but not essential.
• Experience managing application servers (Oracle WebLogic 11g/12c) and setting up WebLogic on cloud/on-premise.
• Experience with Oracle Java Cloud and/or Oracle Database Cloud Service is desirable.
• Experience integrating off-the-shelf business applications (e.g. MS Dynamics, SFDC, SAP, Oracle CRM).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement Java-based solutions within Oracle PaaS and CX Cloud.
• Understand client business processes to deliver innovative Java applications.
• Load data, perform basic queries and ensure performant data models.
• Mentor less experienced colleagues and build productive client relationships.
