Job summary

GlobalLogic in London is seeking a Backend Engineer to design and build robust microservices using Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3. You will work across the full backend stack, from API design through to production-grade integration testing, leveraging modern Java technologies and Spring frameworks.

You’ll implement event-driven architectures with Kafka, apply domain-driven design, and use MapStruct and Feign for mapping and inter-service communication, with Gradle handling builds.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3.
• Proven experience building and maintaining microservices architectures.
• Practical experience with Kafka and event-driven patterns.
• Strong REST API design and Gradle for builds.
• Familiarity with MapStruct, Feign and DDD concepts.
• Integration testing mindset for end-to-end scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend microservices using Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3.
