Job summary

King's College London is seeking a Senior Programme Officer for Initial Teacher Training (ITT) within the School of Education, Communication & Society at the Waterloo campus in London. You will manage day-to-day ITT administration, lead school placements, coordinate assessment boards and ensure data integrity across the programme cycle.

The role requires strong organisational and communication skills, experience in HE or complex education, and the ability to work autonomously within a hybrid

Qualifications

• Programme administration or coordination experience in HE or similar complex education environment.
• Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills with multiple priorities.
• Attention to detail with complex data and reporting requirements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across diverse groups.
• Autonomous working with sound judgement and ownership of responsibilities.
• Experience handling student enquiries and service issues.
• Solid IT skills including Microsoft 365 and student records systems.
• Positive, resilient and pragmatic under pressure in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ITT programmes across the annual programme cycle.
• Administer school placements and programme assessments.
• Coordinate assessment boards and maintain data records.
• Support DfE reporting, regulatory requirements and quality assurance.
• Line manage a Programme Officer and provide direction and prioritisation.
• Develop specialist knowledge of teacher education and University processes.
