Job summary

Catmose College is seeking a Senior IT Technician to support and develop the Federation's IT infrastructure and services. You will ensure secure, reliable systems and provide high-quality support to staff and students across networking, servers, cloud services and cyber security.

The role focuses on maintaining and improving IT resources, with opportunities to work on transformation projects and emerging technologies while developing professional skills in a forward-thinking educational

Qualifications

Experience supporting IT infrastructure and services in a professional environment.
Strong knowledge of networking, Windows Server, virtualisation and storage technologies.
Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Entra ID or similar cloud-based technologies.
Knowledge of cyber security principles and frameworks such as Cyber Essentials.

Responsibilities

Support the day-to-day operation, maintenance and development of the Federation's IT infrastructure and services.
Provide high-quality technical support to staff and students via email, phone and face-to-face assistance.
Install, configure, maintain network infrastructure, servers, devices and cloud-based services.
Monitor system performance, capacity and availability; identify opportunities for improvement.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, escalating where appropriate.
Support the implementation of technology projects and Federation transformation initiatives.
