Job summary

Mass is a security-focused technology company seeking a Senior IT Systems Engineer for an on-site role in Corsham (SN13). You will manage server infrastructure, AD, and VMware environments, with a focus on reliability and security in a highly protected air-gapped setting.

The role requires UK work eligibility and the ability to obtain DV clearance. Benefits include extensive annual leave, pension options, private medical and dental insurance, and other employee perks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in server infrastructure support and administration.
• Strong VMware (vSphere/ESXi/vCenter) expertise.
• Hands-on Windows Server, Active Directory and Group Policy experience.
• Eligible to work in the UK and obtain UK DV clearance.
• Desirable: SharePoint 2016, Linux basics, ITIL knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide reliable third-line support across our secure infrastructure.
• Maintain and administer Microsoft Windows Server environments, including Active Directory.
• Support and enhance our VMware-based virtual infrastructure.
• Manage backup and recovery processes using Veeam to ensure data resilience.
• Keep technical documentation up to date and ensure change control processes are followed.
