Job summary

TwinStream is seeking a Senior IT Systems Administrator to take senior operational responsibility for the performance and resilience of our IT systems as the business grows.

Working under the IT Technical Lead, you will lead complex deployments, manage cloud platforms, identity and access management, and ensure security, backup and continuity across the corporate estate. This is a hands‑on, leadership role requiring good judgement and mentoring of teammates.

Qualifications

• Experience in systems administration and infrastructure engineering for complex services
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and security practices
• Experience with identity and access management and Zero Trust concepts
• Networking experience including firewalls, switches and VPNs
• Experience automating administration with scripting
• Good communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Autonomous work style with mentoring ability
• Experience with cloud platforms and security monitoring
• Familiarity with IT service management processes (incident, change, asset)

Responsibilities

• Leading day‑to‑day management of cloud services, corporate infrastructure, end‑user devices and applications
• Implementing improvements to identity management and endpoint management processes
• Guiding complex technical implementations and coordinating changes
• Administering and optimizing cloud platforms and collaboration tools
• Providing senior operational escalation for incidents and problems
• Coordinating patching, vulnerability remediation and upgrades
• Ensuring backup, recovery and disaster recovery readiness
• Maintaining technical documentation and system records
• Mentoring colleagues and promoting high‑quality delivery
• Building relationships with partners and suppliers to resolve issues
