Job summary

The University of Law (ULaw) in London is seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer to join our dedicated IT team. This role provides high‑quality 2nd and 3rd line support across the university, ensuring secure, reliable IT services for staff, students and lecturers.

Working hours are 35 per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with shifts that may include early start or late cover. The role is based on our London campus with no hybrid/remote working.

Qualifications

• Strong 2nd and 3rd line IT support experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex IT incidents.
• Ability to diagnose hardware, software and AV technology issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd and 3rd line IT support to staff, students and lecturers.
• Investigate, diagnose and resolve technical incidents and problems.
• Configure and troubleshoot hardware, software and AV tech (Microsoft 365, Windows 11, projectors, video conferencing).
• Monitor support channels and respond within SLAs; contribute to service improvements.
