Job summary

ASA Recruitment’s client, a Public Sector organisation in Edinburgh/Glasgow, is seeking a Senior IT Service Manager to drive the Oracle Cloud support capability on a hybrid/remote basis, initial 12-month contract, rate c.£600-650/day inside IR35.

You will oversee a multi-sourced service delivery model, ensure robust SLAs and governance, and lead continual service improvement while aligning with ITIL practices.

Qualifications

• Experience establishing and managing an Oracle Fusion/OCI support team in a complex, high transaction volume environment.
• Experience overseeing the day-to-day relationship with and performance monitoring of Oracle support and third party managed service providers.
• Experience establishing effective support processes, SLAs, and performance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage a multi-sourced service support team with a customer-centric approach across locations.
• Ensure service availability and performance meets customer needs.
• Maintain service catalogue and knowledge library.
• Produce reporting and governance for service standards.
• Lead continual service improvement across the service delivery function.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and manage relationships.
• Apply ITIL principles to live service governance.
• Use data analytics to enhance business performance.
