Barchester Healthcare is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the full lifecycle of IT projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to a high-quality standard. You will collaborate with sponsors and stakeholders to shape objectives and drive outcomes.

The role requires strong governance, PRINCE2/Agile familiarity, and a proven ability to manage multi-million-pound projects while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in delivering multi-million-pound IT projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of PRINCE2 and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to manage risks and drive project governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead successful delivery of IT projects across Barchester's portfolio.
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables with clear success measures.
• Produce investment case papers to support proposals.
• Maintain change calendar for all planned service-impacting activities.
• Identify and manage IT resource demand and ensure team capacity.
• Support IT Director in prioritising initiatives by business need.
• Communicate project expectations clearly to team and stakeholders.
• Proactively manage risks and escalation through governance channels.
• Apply change control for deviations from objectives.
