Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex digital transformation projects in London. The role is a day-rate contract inside IR35, with 3 days per week onsite and the term running until year-end.

You will drive delivery across initiation, planning, governance and benefits realization for business-critical technology initiatives. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in large-scale IT projects, strong budgeting and risk-management skills, and proficiency with Agile,

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering large IT and digital transformation projects.
• Strong planning, governance, budgeting and financial control skills.
• Proven ability to assess and manage project risks.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary technology and business teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication.
• Hands-on delivery with Agile, Waterfall and hybrid approaches.
• Proficient with MS Project, Azure DevOps and Jira.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery from initiation to closure.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans with scope, schedule and budget.
• Manage governance, reporting, change control and stakeholder communications.
• Oversee project financials including forecasting and variance analysis.
• Drive risk, issue and dependency management across workstreams.
• Coordinate internal teams, suppliers and stakeholders for successful delivery.
• Support business readiness, service transition and user adoption.
• Provide executive reporting and delivery assurance throughout lifecycle.
