Job summary

Edbury Daley is seeking an experienced IT procurement professional to join a client-facing advisory practice. You will own and deliver IT procurement strategies, supplier management and category initiatives across global engagements.

You will lead workstreams, engage senior stakeholders and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights, driving measurable outcomes for major organisations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience in IT procurement, strategic sourcing or category management.
• Strong experience in global IT procurement categories.
• Subject-matter expertise in Enterprise Software, IT Services and/or Cloud & Hosting.
• Experience managing or influencing technology spend portfolios, ideally >$50m annually.
• Consulting experience or close work with consulting organizations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage teams across global client engagements.
• Develop and execute IT procurement and category strategies.
• Lead complex sourcing and commercial initiatives from identification through implementation.
• Conduct supplier research, market analysis and commercial assessments.
• Build robust data foundations and translate data into actionable insights.
• Identify opportunities to improve value, supplier performance and commercial outcomes.
• Track benefits and ensure delivery aligns with milestones and objectives.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand requirements and align priorities.
• Lead and contribute to workshops, working sessions and senior stakeholder discussions.
• Communicate recommendations and commercial insights clearly to clients and internal teams.
