Job summary

Spotify is seeking an experienced engineering leader to guide a group of Engineering Managers and roughly 50 engineers across its IT Studio. You will set strategy, strengthen engineering practices, and balance investments with business priorities to enable growth and reliability.

You will drive reliability, security, and privacy as core engineering decisions, shape how AI is used across Spotify, and collaborate with product, studio leadership, and legal to solve meaningful technical challenges.

Qualifications

8+ years of engineering leadership experience.
Experience delivering large-scale engineering programs.
Expertise in enterprise tech such as identity and access, SaaS platforms, and workplace technology.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop Engineering Managers across multiple teams.
Set engineering strategy across the studio with clear technical direction.
Strengthen technical judgment and improve architecture, quality and team capability.
Drive improvements in reliability, security, privacy and operational health.
Shape and govern AI usage across the company and its tooling.
