Job summary

Holland & Barrett is seeking a hands‑on Senior IT/OT Cyber Engineer to protect our enterprise IT and OT environments across stores, warehouses and operations. You will shape security architecture, drive segmentation and access controls, and mentor teams in a rapidly growing international business.

The role blends enterprise IT and OT security, with hybrid working and attendance at London or Nuneaton offices as needed, to balance security with business needs.

Qualifications

• Significant hands‑on experience securing enterprise IT environments.
• Experience with OT environments where resilience and availability are essential.
• Expertise across network security, segmentation, firewalls, VPNs and identity/security controls.
• Ability to lead technical decisions and influence stakeholders.
• Excellent troubleshooting and collaborative problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID and OT technologies is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the security engineering of IT and OT environments across stores, warehouses and sites.
• Design, implement and continuously improve secure architectures and configurations.
• Drive secure network segmentation and remote access controls across distributed environments.
• Act as the senior technical escalation point for IT and OT cyber security issues.
• Assess cyber risks and provide pragmatic recommendations to support decisions.
• Partner with infrastructure, operations and facilities to embed security by design.
• Mentor colleagues and share best practice in security engineering.
