Job summary

Advancing People Ltd is seeking an experienced estimator and designer for senior leadership in estimating, technical design, and bid development across multi-discipline IT infrastructure and cabling projects. The role allows emphasis on design-and-build and early engagement with clients, including wireless and low-voltage systems.

You will guide cost planning, tender submissions, and commercial risk while coordinating internal engineers and external partners.

Qualifications

• Senior estimator with technology/infrastructure background and bid leadership experience.
• Experience leading estimating teams and bid development for complex projects.
• Strong Excel and familiarity with design/estimating tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the estimating team for significant expansion.
• Lead cost planning, estimating and tender submissions for technically complex projects.
• Shape scope, assumptions and commercial risk to support bid strategy and margins.
• Develop high-quality proposals and pricing models with documentation.
