Daisy Communications is rebranding to O2 Business and is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to shape and secure the core IT infrastructure for a growing telecoms firm in the UK. Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise IT infrastructure design and deployment.
- Strong documentation and escalation skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and assist with the implementation of a Daisy standalone IT infrastructure.
- Design, support & optimise physical, virtual and cloud infrastructure.
- Work with external networking, infrastructure and support teams.
- Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, services, settings, directories, storage, etc.
- Research and recommend innovative, automated approaches for system administration tasks.
- Manage and document server procedures for design and implementation of hardware, software, and systems.
- Monitor systems to verify availability and integrity of servers and processes.
- Be an escalation point for the deskside support team.
- Mentor junior IT team members.
