Job summary

Modis International Ltd in the UK is seeking a Senior IT Audit Manager for a major financial services organisation on a permanent basis. Hybrid role based in Birmingham or Edinburgh with 1-2 days in the office and occasional travel across the UK.

You will lead audits end-to-end, manage a small team of IT Audit Managers and Juniors, engage a wide range of stakeholders, and challenge the control environment to improve risk and governance.

Qualifications

• Must have experience as Senior IT Audit Manager in Internal Audit.
• Experience supervising in a matrix environment.
• Strong stakeholder liaison skills with technical acumen.
• Deep cyber security knowledge with penetration testing and CBEST experience ideal.
• Broad end-to-end internal audit experience.
• Professional qualifications: CISA or CISSP are essential.
• Good regulatory awareness and impact on portfolio.
• Financial services, life and pensions or insurance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits end-to-end and manage a portfolio of audits and ad-hoc projects.
• Oversee a small team of IT Audit Managers and Juniors.
• Challenge the risk, governance and control environment and provide insight.
• Liaise with a wide range of stakeholders across the business.
