Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an Internal IT Audit Manager for a UK-wide hybrid role based in Birmingham or Edinburgh. The position involves 1-2 days in the office with occasional travel, supporting the risk, governance and control environment across a portfolio of audits.

The ideal candidate will have internal IT audit leadership experience in financial services, strong stakeholder liaison skills, and qualifications such as CISA or CISSP, with knowledge of cyber security testing and regulatory

Qualifications

• Proven internal IT audit management experience in financial services.
• Strong ability to challenge risk, governance and control environments.
• Experience with cyber security controls and testing approaches such as CBEST.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a portfolio of IT audit assignments from planning through execution to reporting and closure.
• Provide influential insights to senior stakeholders and challenge control environments.
• Coordinate with risk, governance and business units to ensure timely audit delivery aligned to strategy.
• Maintain regulatory awareness and ensure audits reflect regulatory impacts on the portfolio.
