Job summary

Cohesity is seeking an IT Architect to own the AWS and hybrid infrastructure architecture for the Core Platform & Lab Services team. You will design scalable, secure cloud architectures, set standards, and govern implementations across engineering groups.

You will also lead lab infrastructure architecture for Cohesity’s engineering environments and mentor IC3/IC4 engineers while contributing to the CPLS roadmaps and ADRs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT infrastructure or cloud architecture roles with AWS focus.
• Hands-on AWS expertise: VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, Organizations, Control Tower.
• Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation at scale.
• Experience with hybrid cloud and large-scale virtualization.
• Strong documentation and ADRs for design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own AWS architecture including landing zones, accounts, networking, IAM, and cost governance.
• Define cloud standards, guardrails, and IaC patterns used by engineering teams.
• Lead multi-account AWS environments and governance via ADRs and architecture reviews.
• Design hybrid connectivity and disaster recovery patterns for enterprise workloads.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to CPLS roadmaps and governance.
