Job summary

Rentokil Initial seeks an IoT Product Manager to lead hardware development, optimization, and sustaining engineering across 80+ countries. Based in Waterlooville, this role bridges NPD and PLM, driving improvements, QA, and regulatory compliance for multi-component devices.

You will oversee PLM processes, firmware governance, and cross-functional projects with Supply Chain, QA, IT, and Marketing to deliver robust, compliant products.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience across the full product development lifecycle in a multinational organization.
• Understanding of product cost structures, BOM optimization, and manufacturing cost drivers.
• Education in Electronics Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware optimization and sustaining engineering for existing electronic products.
• Oversee PLM, ECN processes and product variant documentation.
• Direct firmware/software governance for connected devices.
• Coordinate cross-functional change initiatives with Supply Chain, QA, IT, and Marketing.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality across international markets.
• Collaborate with external suppliers and contract manufacturers.
