Job summary

Barclays Identity Services is hiring a Senior iOS Engineer to design and build cutting-edge native iOS authentication features for the Barclays mobile banking app, using biometric authentication and modern Swift frameworks.

You will collaborate with backend engineers, security specialists and product designers to deliver seamless, secure experiences for millions of customers, leveraging AI-assisted development to accelerate innovation.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of iOS frameworks and design patterns.
• Experience with OAuth2/OIDC and IAM integration on iOS.
• Proficiency in biometric authentication and secure storage.
• Experience with MVVM or Clean Architecture and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain native iOS apps with secure, scalable code.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver features.
• Conduct code reviews and promote code quality.
• Lead or contribute to multi-year initiatives and strategic direction.
