Job summary

Barclays is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer for Identity Services to build cutting-edge native iOS authentication features for the mobile banking app. You will work with biometric authentication, secure enclaves and Swift frameworks while collaborating with backend, security and design teams to deliver secure experiences for millions of customers.

The role requires deep iOS expertise, OAuth2/OIDC and Secure Storage knowledge, plus AI-assisted development tools, CI/CD, and strong focus on security

Qualifications

• Deep iOS development with Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
• Strong knowledge of IAM concepts and OAuth2/OIDC integration.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools for iOS.
• Experience implementing biometric authentication and secure storage on iOS.
• Proficiency in MVVM/Clean Architecture, DI, tests, and CI/CD for mobile apps.
• Expertise in mobile security practices and penetration/testing basics.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and improve native iOS apps.
• Collaborate with product, design and backend teams for requirements and alignment.
• Participate in code reviews and promote code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Implement secure coding, unit tests and CI/CD pipelines.
• Stay current with iOS tech trends and security requirements.
