Job summary

J.P. Morgan Personal Investing is seeking an experienced iOS developer to join the London team working on the native Nutmeg iOS app. You will deliver features through an Agile SDLC, own tasks end-to-end, and uphold high-quality code with tests.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English and collaborative work with London team
• Commercial experience in native iOS development
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented Swift and Xcode
• Ability to write unit tests with XCTest
• Experience with MVVM and Coordinator patterns; knowledge of SOLID
• Familiarity with iOS design guidelines and core libraries (UIKit, SwiftUI, Foundation)
• Experience with app deployment, CI/CD (Bitrise) and production monitoring
• Understanding REST APIs and Git flow

Responsibilities

• Follow an Agile SDLC to deliver features in the native iOS Nutmeg app
• Own tasks from estimation to release and post-production
• Identify, troubleshoot and fix defects
• Write tests and adhere to coding standards
• Participate in bi-weekly releases and associated processes
• Contribute to code reviews and continuous learning
• Share knowledge through skill-sharing sessions in the iOS team
• Contribute to technical initiatives to evolve the codebase
• Focus on root causes, not just symptoms
