Job summary

Barclays is seeking a Senior Native iOS Engineer based in Northampton or Knutsford to shape and evolve secure, scalable iOS apps supporting key customer journeys. You will collaborate with product, design and fellow engineers to deliver high quality mobile experiences in a regulated environment.

You will write robust Swift code across SwiftUI and UIKit, apply MVVM, use Combine and Swift Concurrency, and emphasize testing, security, accessibility and performance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience developing native iOS apps in Swift using SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Modular architectures; reactive programming with Combine and Swift Concurrency.
• Test-driven development with unit and UI testing; knowledge of security and accessibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and evolve secure, scalable iOS applications used by millions of customers.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and other engineers to align requirements with business goals.
• Contribute to engineering standards, participate in code reviews and ensure high quality, maintainable code.
