Job summary

Allica Bank is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager for our Invoice Finance team. You will own high-value origination across strategic channels, operate with autonomy, and lead more complex deal structures while mentoring junior team members.

You’ll build strong relationships with introducers, brokers, and key partners, drive multi-product cross-sell opportunities, and help shape the commercial plan as we scale our Invoice Finance business.

Qualifications

• Substantial track record of new business origination in Invoice Finance or related SME lending.
• Experience building introducer and broker relationships.
• Deep understanding of the Invoice Finance market, deal structuring, and credit considerations.
• Comfortable operating with autonomy and representing the business at a senior level.
• Natural mentor, happy to share knowledge without formal management responsibility.
• Strong commercial judgement with a track record of cross-sell opportunities.
• Managerial and people hiring experience is a plus.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and improving processes as the business scales.

Responsibilities

• Own higher-value Invoice Finance opportunities and introducer relationships.
• Get up to speed on complex deal structures and credit considerations.
• Mentor junior BDMs and share best practices on prospecting and qualification.
• Originate and close high-value, complex opportunities to meet income targets.
• Develop and manage introducer relationships including brokers and accountancy firms.
• Lead on structuring more complex lending proposals with credit.
• Contribute to the commercial business plan for Invoice Finance.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities across Allica Bank offerings.
