Location: Hamburg, Germany

The Alternative Investments Real Assets team is responsible for the asset class Infrastructure. It acts as the link between the Group sponsors and the asset managers, both captive and external, for this asset class.

Key Responsibilities

1. Contribute to the continuous review and development of the Infrastructure Equity Investment Strategy.
2. Prepare analysis and recommendations for top management and the Group Alternative Investment Committee on all matters related to the infrastructure asset class.
3. Conduct in-depth analysis of investment proposals for direct equity investments in infrastructure (brownfield and greenfield) across subsectors such as energy, communication, and transport, as proposed by asset managers.
4. Identify infrastructure investment opportunities in the market to help the company achieve its Net Zero Carbon commitments and ESG targets, particularly to support the energy transition.
5. Manage relationships with both captive and external asset managers.
6. Monitor overall market developments in the asset class and seek additional investment opportunities to complement the activities of the captive manager, ensuring broad coverage across infrastructure sub-sectors.
