About The Role

As an integral member of the IAG Cargo Transformation Office this role will be responsible for managing the governance of transformational change from inception to delivery. Acting as a trusted adviser and delivery partner you’ll help to facilitate the transformation agenda, you will work with key stakeholders to ensure the organisational performance and key partners (internal and external clients and suppliers) meet the requirements of the IAG Cargo transformation plan. Will provide key oversight and strategic direction to the wider Transformation team.

What You’ll Do

  • Accountable for the running and control of the organisation’s transformation programmes, ensuring all programmes meet with the fundamental change values endorsed by IAG Cargo Executive team.
  • Responsible for monitoring programme spend, working with Heads of Transformation as well Programme and Project Managers to understand actual spend, future risks and capacity.
  • Set the reporting standards for the Transformation Office, sharing best practice and consistency across all programme areas.
  • Aligning of objectives and key results process with the wider transformation team, tracking progress and facilitating required improvements.
  • Monitoring the programme of work across various workstreams to help teams identify dependencies, cross departmental issues and gaps to enable proactive issue resolution.
  • Drawing on and exploiting wider industry best practice from industry and broader concepts e.g. Lean Six Sigma, Agile.
  • Owning and distributing relevant and insightful documents (e.g. briefing packs, board papers, procurement documents, project reports, business cases, budgets and records).
  • Own the agendas and commissioning papers for key internal and external meetings, and in some cases chairing meetings or leading working groups or committees.
  • Where required manage the relationships with external consultants/contractors.

Skills And Experience

  • Able to balance strategic thinking, creativity, planning, project and process management, operations and administrative execution with exceptional communications capability and judgment.
  • Strong programme management experience across large, complex programmes.
  • Bring structure, visibility, rigour and professionalism to continuous improvement and performance in an open, collaborative culture.
  • Ability to work at pace in an ambiguous environment, good with process, with a bias towards execution.
  • Interpersonal skills to work with anyone and persuade others to work with you, even without a formal reporting relationship.
  • Crisp written, visual and verbal communicator.
