Location: Hamburg, Germany

The Alternative Investments Real Assets team is responsible for the asset class Infrastructure. It connects Group sponsors and asset managers, both captive and external, for this asset class.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the review and development of the Infrastructure Equity Investment Strategy.
• Prepare analysis and recommendations for top management and the Group Alternative Investment Committee regarding infrastructure assets.
• Analyze investment proposals for direct equity investments in infrastructure (brownfield and greenfield) across sectors like energy, communication, and transport, proposed by asset managers.
• Identify investment opportunities in the market that support the company's Net Zero Carbon commitments and ESG targets, especially in energy transition.
• Manage relationships with asset managers.
• Monitor market developments and seek additional investment opportunities to diversify the infrastructure portfolio.
• Oversee the global infrastructure portfolio, providing support in portfolio management, strategy, and planning.

Key Requirements / Experience / Skills

• University degree in business administration or economics with a focus on finance, investments, or valuation.
• Strong interest and affinity for investments, especially alternative investments.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in investment or asset management, preferably in renewables, clean energy, or infrastructure.
• Experience with due diligence on infrastructure investment managers is preferred.
• Excellent analytical and implementation skills.
