Job Description
This role involves partnering with Corporate & Investment Bank and Private Wealth Advisors to interact directly with Corporate & Institutional clients. The key responsibilities include:
- Understanding Client Needs: Assessing client situations, objectives, and decision-making processes to position the investment capabilities effectively.
- Develop Investment Solutions: Using judgment to design and pitch the right investment solutions, including portfolio construction, asset allocation, and risk management.
- Client Communication: Managing and communicating directly with clients to guide and influence their investment decisions.
- Market Updates: Providing regular updates on major asset classes and financial indicators.
- Collaboration: Working closely with CIB colleagues, Private Wealth Advisors and other investment product and portfolio managment specialists to support client acquisition and revenue growth.
- Mentorship: Acting as a player-coach to mentor and develop others within the investment team.
The role requires extensive financial market knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to develop innovative investment strategies. It's a central role in driving the perception of the Bank's investment capabilities and growing investment assets and revenues.

- Wealth Management Experience: Relevant experience for the grade.
- Presentation Skills: Strong skills to showcase the Wealth investment proposition.
- Investment Knowledge: Understanding of equities, bonds, alternatives, derivatives, and foreign exchange.
- Macro-Economics & Portfolio Construction: Excellent knowledge and implementation solutions.
- Behavioural Economics:
Essential Skills/Qualifications:- Significant experience as an Investment Advisor with Corporate & Institutional clients.
- Success in marketing investments to institutional clients.
- Goal-oriented with independent thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Good communication skills for various stakeholders.
- Team player with a resilient personality.
- Level 4 UK RDR qualification (or equivalent) for regulated client advice.
Desirable Skills/Qualifications:- CFA qualification is an advantage.
