Working closely with the CIO and play a pivotal role in shaping the investment product suite, ensuring it meets evolving client needs, regulatory obligations, and strategic business goals. The position offers outstanding exposure across the business, including regular engagement with the Risk Committee and the Board. You’ll work at the intersection of product development, investment strategy, and regulatory compliance—contributing to the continued evolution of a business with ambitious plans.

  • Act as the central point of contact for all product-related matters across the business, with a focus on investment strategy, structure, and ongoing development.
  • Ensure the product suite aligns with Consumer Duty requirements and all regulatory standards, acting as the key owner of regulatory product governance.
  • Liaise directly with internal stakeholders including the CIO, compliance, operations, and the investment team to drive product enhancements and resolve product-related risks.
  • Support the CIO in strategic initiatives around product design, pricing, positioning, and suitability.
  • Own the end-to-end process of preparing materials and updates for the Risk Committee and Board, including detailed product governance reporting and analysis.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and adviser support teams to ensure clarity and consistency in product messaging and documentation.
  • Conduct thorough market and competitor analysis to inform product development priorities and regulatory alignment.
  • Lead cross-functional projects tied to product evolution, investment performance monitoring, and investor communication.
  • Act as a key liaison for external stakeholders including regulators, auditors, and key business partners on product and risk matters.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in a product specialist, product analyst or product manager role within investment management, asset management, or wealth platforms.
  • Strong technical understanding of investment products, fund structures, and regulatory frameworks (especially around Consumer Duty and FCA requirements).
  • Experience preparing and presenting to senior committees including Risk Committees and Boards.
  • Comfortable working in a scale-up or high-growth environment; adaptable and confident working across multiple stakeholders and functions.
  • Exceptional analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on attitude with the ability to work independently and with pace.
  • Familiarity with model portfolios, or evidence-based investing is advantageous.

Why Join?

  • Be part of a fast-growing, mission-driven business revolutionising the investment landscape.
  • Work closely with C-suite leadership, gaining direct insight into business strategy and product evolution.
  • Shape and influence the firm’s product roadmap in a role that blends investment acumen with regulatory oversight.
  • Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with excellent exposure and the opportunity to grow as the business scales.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package, with flexible working arrangements.
