Job description

Successful FMCG/Retail businesses require a Senior Inventory / Supply Chain Analyst. Applicants should have experience in supply chain, inventory, purchasing, or forecasting roles, ideally within a product-led FMCG, manufacturing, or retail business.

An exciting end-to-end supply chain role, the Senior Inventory / Supply Chain Analyst will focus on optimizing stock and inventory management strategies to satisfy customers in the most cost-effective manner. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues in commercial and sales departments, and direct interaction with suppliers and customers regarding product and stock availability.

Specific duties of the Senior Inventory / Supply Chain Analyst include:

• Being the point of contact for customers regarding product availability and stock/inventory issues
• Optimizing inventory holdings through data analysis using MS Excel and supply chain planning/forecasting software
• Preparing forecasts for new product launches, seasonal, and promotional ranges based on analysis of previous customer demand
• Managing suppliers to meet OTD/OTIF metrics and ensure alignment with customer forecasts
• Supporting Supply Chain leadership in process improvement activities within the function

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Experience in supply chain, inventory, forecasting, purchasing, or demand planning roles
• Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or retail environments
• Strong data analysis skills with intermediate proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with planning/forecasting tools
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working in an on-site role
