Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an experienced senior radiographer to lead the interventional radiology and fluoroscopy services across three sites. The role includes workload and staffing, delivering advanced procedures and supporting staff through change in a 24/7 service.

You will hold HCPC registration, radiography qualifications, and a postgraduate credential; you'll lead a clinical team, supervise rota, audit quality, and drive service improvements with

Competenze

• Evidence of extensive radiology experience with interventional radiology (IR)
• Experience leading a clinical team in an acute hospital setting
• Current HCPC registration and DBS clearance
• Willingness to work extended and out-of-hours rota
• Ability to drive service improvements through governance and audit

Mansioni

• Lead workload planning and staffing across assigned IR/fluoroscopy areas
• Perform and report complex imaging and advanced interventional procedures
• Provide specialist clinical service and guidance to staff, patients and carers
• Triage referrals and manage priorities against protocols and KPIs
• Lead a small specialty team and cover clinical rota across sites
• Train, mentor and assess staff and students; deliver education
• Develop clinical policies, protocols and service standards with multidisciplinary colleagues
• Lead clinical audits and service development projects; participate in research
