Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an Internal Sales Engineer (Valves / Precision Engineering) in Knutsford. Salary £55,000 – £65,000 with training, progression, benefits, 31 days holiday and pension. 40 hours per week, 8:30am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

You will own customer accounts from enquiry to order, handle technical and commercial negotiations, and coordinate with engineering and production to deliver accurate proposals aligned with delivery needs.

Qualifications

• Experience as Technical or Internal Sales Engineer in valves or precision engineering.
• Ability to manage key accounts and negotiate technically and commercially.
• Experience handling technical enquiries, quotations and orders.

Responsibilities

• Manage key accounts, building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
• Take ownership of technical enquiries, quotes and order processing.
• Assess customer requirements and provide specialist advice.
• Liaise with internal teams and external customers.
• Work 40 hours per week, 8:30am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
