Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking an Internal Controls Senior Manager to join the Group Internal Controls team in Derby. The role focuses on defining, managing and monitoring the internal control system with emphasis on finance processes and controls to assure the integrity of financial information.

You will provide guidance, lead improvements, and report findings to senior management and the Audit Committee. The position offers on-site work with some hybrid flexibility and opportunities to engage with

Qualifications

• Professional accountancy and/or audit qualification required.
• Experience implementing SOX controls and a SOX programme is highly desirable.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to define, manage and monitor the internal control system across Civil and Group businesses.
• Lead development of improved internal controls that are efficient and effective.
• Challenge current controls and perform testing; remediate actions with the business.
• Lead self-assessment of internal control systems and guide colleagues through the process.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers to resolve control issues and drive improvements.
