Job summary

Jet2.com is recruiting a Senior Internal Communications Executive in Leeds City Centre for a permanent role. The role focuses on shaping clear, engaging and insight-led colleagues communications, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and building strong cross-team relationships.

You will coordinate communications plans, develop others, write and oversee content, and continually refine channels based on feedback and data.

Qualifications

• Experience in Internal Communications, Engagement, HR, Marketing or a similar role.
• Strong creative writing, editing and communication skills.
• Experience developing forward-thinking communication plans and managing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead communications delivery– coordinate communication and engagement plans, managing the communications calendar.
• Coach and develop others– provide day-to-day leadership and support to colleagues.
• Create clear and engaging communications across channels, ensuring messages are aligned to business priorities.

Permanent. 40 Hours

We’re looking for a Senior Internal Communications Executive to join our team.Reporting to the Senior Manager – Internal Communicationsand Engagement,you’llplay a key role in shaping and delivering clear, engaging and insight-led communications that keep our colleagues informed,connectedand engaged. What you’ll be doing:

• Lead communications delivery– coordinate communication and engagement plans, managing the communications calendar to ensure activity is well organised, joined up and delivered on time.


• Coach and develop others– provide day-to-day leadership,guidanceand support to colleagues, helping to prioritise workload, build capability and confidence, andmaintainhigh standardsacross the team.


• Create clear and engaging communications– write,editand oversee content across a range of colleague communication channels, ensuring messages are clear,accurate, engaging and aligned to our key business priorities.


• Shape and improve our channels– use insight,feedbackand performance data toidentifyopportunities to improve channel effectiveness, reach and engagement, helping us continually evolve how we communicate with colleagues.


• Colleague Engagement activity– support the delivery of colleague engagement campaigns, events, surveys, pulsechecksand feedback activity, evaluating their impact andidentifyingopportunities for improvement.


• Use insight to influence– monitor communication and engagement performance, interpreting data and colleague feedback toidentifytrends, generate insights and make recommendations that shape future activity and strategy.


• Build strong stakeholder relationships– work collaboratively with teams across the business, providing communication advice and support, building trusted relationships and constructively challenging and influencing whereappropriate.

Whatyou’llhave:

• Experience in Internal Communications, Engagement, HR,Marketingor a similar role, with strongcreativewriting,editingand communication skills.


• Experience developingforward thinkingcommunication plans, managing competingprioritiesand delivering high-quality work to tight deadlines.


• Experience coaching and developing colleagues, with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.


• A proactive, forward-thinking approach, with strong analytical skills and the ability to use insight and feedback to improve communications and engagement.


• Excellent attention to detail, soundjudgementand good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook,Teamsand SharePoint.Working knowledge of creative design software also desirable.
