Job summary

Deloitte Ireland is seeking a Senior Auditor to lead internal audit engagements, strengthen SOX and controls frameworks, and advise senior management. This Belfast-based role offers a flexible hybrid model, client exposure across sectors, and opportunities to mentor teams.

You will manage engagements from planning to reporting, develop management reports, and contribute to Deloitte's expanding advisory offerings across Technology and Corporate sectors.

Qualifications

• Post qualification experience in Internal Audit, SOX or Controls.
• ACA/ACCA/CIIA or other accounting qualification.
• Experience leading audits and presenting to Senior Management.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of internal audit, controls advisory, and assurance engagements from planning through to reporting.
• Support clients in developing or enhancing Internal Control and SOX compliance programmes.
• Assist in expanding Deloitte's offering within the Technology and Corporate sectors.
• Prepare and review high-quality planning documents and reporting deliverables for client issuance.
• Present engagement results to client Senior Management, Audit Committees, and Boards.
• Contribute to the development of team technical acumen through coaching and mentoring.
