Job summary

HireIQ in Belfast is seeking an experienced audit and assurance professional to lead a varied portfolio of assignments from planning through to completion, while developing client relationships and coaching junior team members.

The role combines technical audit work with client exposure and team leadership, offering hybrid work flexibility, strong development opportunities and a pathway to senior leadership within a large international professional services organisation.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience in audit and assurance required.
• Experience leading teams and managing client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver a varied portfolio of audit and assurance assignments, from planning to completion.
• Act as key client contact, building trusted relationships and clear communication.
• Delegate and review junior team members, providing coaching for development.
• Apply technical judgement in risk assessment, issue resolution, and recommendations.
• Ensure assignments meet standards and deadlines efficiently.
• Support business development and client relationship growth.
