Overview

Mustard is partnering with an established Hospitality Design Studio to recruit a Senior Interior Designer for a permanent role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international hospitality interior design, with solid team leadership and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design process for hospitality interior projects from concept to completion.
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and translate them into innovative, functional design solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design integrity and project success.
• Mentor and oversee junior designers, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to deliver high-quality design solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in hospitality interior design, with a portfolio of international projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of building codes and industry standards related to hospitality design.

Day-to-day

• Develop innovative design concepts with the team.
• Present proposals to clients and gather feedback.
• Review and approve design documentation.
• Oversee material, furnishings, and finishes procurement.
• Conduct site visits to ensure design realization.
