Job description

Corporate and Commercial Workplace / Fit Out.

About the role

We are currently involved in a number of high-profile UK and international projects in the workplace, retail, healthcare, heritage, arts, sports and education sectors.

We are looking for creative Senior Interior Designers with exceptional corporate and commercial workplace fit out expertise to join our successful design team in our central London studio.

You will be exposed to the full scope of our award‑winning international practice; helping to deliver the high standard of comprehensive and integrated building design that has seen BDP become a major interdisciplinary practice of architects, designers and engineers.

Engaging with, and presenting to blue‑chip clients and stakeholders, you will be part of our London interior design team and our wider UK and international teams helping drive our direction in a new wave of challenging, high‑profile projects.

Ultimately, we are looking for a candidate that aspire to create great workplace environments and are keen to progress their career with a major, award‑winning design practice.

About us

BDP is a leading, global, multidisciplinary design practice united by a shared purpose: to design a world that’s built for good. For more than 60 years, we've been solving problems, creating innovative spaces, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. From the start, we've been pioneers in the world of design, and our legacy is built on the meaningful, people‑centered places we've brought to life.

We are a diverse, international practice of architects, engineers, designers, and urbanists. We work closely with our clients, users, and communities to craft spaces for living, working, learning, and enjoying life across the globe. With studios spanning the UK, Ireland, Europe, Asia, and North America, our reach is as broad as our expertise. And since joining forces with Japan’s Nippon Koei in 2016, our ability to deliver integrated, impactful design has only grown stronger.

Our work is rooted in creativity, quality, and collaboration. We believe that great design removes barriers and opens new possibilities, all while meeting the demands of a constantly evolving world. Whether we’re designing homes, workplaces, or public spaces, we always put people at the heart of our thinking, ensuring that the environments we create are not just functional, but also inclusive, beautiful, and socially and environmentally responsible.

We’re proud of the places we've shaped and the lives we've touched, and we are committed to continuing our mission of designing a better, more connected world—one that leaves every place better than we found it.

About you

You will have exceptional design skills, and strong experience gained through working in the corporate and commercial interior design sectors with successful design firms.

You will have relevant experience in corporate and commercial workplace fit out design and execution through all RIBA Stages from briefing and stakeholder liaison, concept design development, technical package production and implementation through to on‑site experience and post‑completion review.

You will have good working knowledge of Revit, Excel, PowerPoint, Sketch‑up and InDesign as well as rendering packages.

We place great value on teamwork and collaboration, so you will need to demonstrate a strong collaborative ethos. You will be able to work effectively with people at all levels, from all backgrounds and have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

BDP offers

In return, BDP can offer you a wide range of learning opportunities to encourage personal and professional career development. From sponsorship to profession‑led CPD events, we also offer annual appraisals and a mentoring scheme that is supported by our internal online learning platform.
