Job summary

Conran and Partners in London is seeking a senior interior designer to join our London studio and work on a range of typologies worldwide. The role requires five plus years' experience, a portfolio of high-quality projects, and a strong command of design sensibilities aligned with the practice ethos.

You will work across hospitality, residential and commercial sectors, collaborating with an international team of architects and interior designers.

Qualifications

• Five plus years of experience on design-led projects.
• Interior design degree or architectural qualifications.
• Strong background in hospitality, high-end residential or workplace sectors.
• Client facing with proven job-running experience.
• Creative flair and conceptual approach.
• Experience delivering pitches to drawings packages and schedules.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit, SketchUp, Rhino and Enscape; 3D rendering abilities.
• InDesign and Photoshop experience is essential.
• Experience leading and mentoring people.
• Good FF+E finishes knowledge and sourcing mindset.
• Experience in Asia and fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese or Japanese is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support new projects in the hospitality, residential and commercial sectors.
• Lead design development from concept through to completion.

We are growing and looking for talented and experienced senior interior designers to join our London studio and work on a range of different typologies around the world.

At Conran and Partners, you’ll work across a wide variety of sectors, scales and geographies – from hospitality and residential to commercial – collaborating with our international team of architects and interior designers.

The role

We are looking for senior interior designers with proven experience and design sensibilities that sit well with our studio ethos to support new projects in the hospitality, residential and commercial sectors.

The ideal candidate will have five plus years’ of experience with creative drive and technical understanding.

Applicants should have a flair for design and experience working on high-quality projects demonstrated through a beautiful portfolio of work, exhibiting their ability to contribute to the design sensibilities of the practice.

About you:

• minimum five plus years’ experience working on design-led projects
• interior design degree or architectural qualifications
• strong background in the hospitality, high-end residential or workplace sectors
• client facing with proven experience of job running
• creative flair, conceptual approach
• understanding of and experience in delivering pitches to drawing packages and schedules
• strong knowledge and practical experience of AutoCAD or Revit, SketchUp, Rhino and Enscape. 3D rendering abilities
• strong graphic communication and presentation skills, InDesign and Photoshop experience is essential
• experience leading and managing people, as well as mentoring junior members
• a good knowledge of finishes and FF+E specification along with a desire to continually source new and interesting products
• experience working in Asia and fluency in either Mandarin, Cantonese and Japanese is a plus
