Job summary

Centrica plc is seeking an Independent Competent Person (ICP) under PSSR to assure pressure systems integrity across Centrica's assets, including onshore and offshore. You will lead risk-based assessments, manage integrity audits, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Location is Woodland House, Hull, with hybrid working. The role requires Chartered Mechanical/Corrosion engineering expertise and API certification exposure, plus strong problem-solving and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical and/or Corrosion Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered status with IMechE or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compliance with Engineering Strategy and Integrity Management System.
• Support Asset Integrity Manager in maintaining technical integrity.
• Lead or participate in integrity audits and investigations.
• Develop and maintain RBA strategies and inspection programs.
• Oversee risk-based assessment processes for onshore/offshore assets.
