Job summary

Altrapoint is seeking a Mid to Senior Technical Business Analyst for our London team, focusing on insurance technology and scalable system architectures. The role combines ownership of technical design with hands-on API integrations, system configurations, and complex rating engines.

You will review technical designs, triage issues, and guide analysts and engineers through technical solutions, with occasional London workshops as part of a light hybrid arrangement.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Technical Business Analyst within commercial insurance or insuretech environments.
• Hands-on familiarity with modern integration patterns, API implementations, complex rating structures, and system configurations.
• Experience with data analysis using SQL, Python, or scripting basics.
• Mid to Senior level with the ability to steer technical discussions and review architecture proposals.
• Willingness to travel to the London office occasionally (~15% travel).

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of technical solution design, validating that platform enhancements remain robust, scalable, and maintainable.
• Act as the technical specialist across platform configurations, evaluating API calls, integration points, and code reviews alongside engineering teams.
• Investigate, triage, and resolve complex technical issues combining analytical rigor with domain understanding.
• Advise on technical risk, review solution proposals from team members, and ensure seamless delivery across multiple vendor integrations.
