Job summary

Aviva plc in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Actuarial Insurance Risk Manager to lead and influence risk understanding across GI foundations. You will review, challenge and catalyse improvements in risk management with focus on pricing, reserving, exposure management, or model risk, reporting to the Head of Insurance risk.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders across the Actuarial Function, Claims, Pricing & Underwriting to provide a clear risk view and drive deep-dive analyses

Qualifications

• Actuarial, underwriting or accounting qualifications preferred or qualified by experience.
• Experience in actuarial/insurance risk components (reserving, pricing, capital modelling, etc.).
• Analytical thinker able to communicate complex issues to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review and challenge management of insurance risk across pricing, reserving, exposure management, and related areas.
• Lead risk deep dives and provide objective risk opinions to enable informed decisions.
• Collaborate with risk, actuarial, claims and underwriting teams to strengthen the risk framework.
