Prospect Law LTD is seeking an experienced English-qualified barrister or solicitor to join on a profit share basis to develop the firm’s work in the insurance and risk management sectors.

The candidate will have a track record advising on a wide range of insurance issues and will already carry a substantial client following, ready to generate and service that work, while assisting directors with cross-practice client management.

We are looking for an experienced lawyer to join Prospect Law on a profit share basis, to develop the firm’s work in the insurance and risk managements sectors.

The Opportunity

We are interested in recruiting an English-qualified barrister or solicitor with experience in contentious and/or non contentious insurance law matters.

Suitable candidates will have a track record in advising clients on a wide variety of insurance related issues. They will already have a substantial client following of their own, and will be keen to continue to generate and service that work.

Candidates will also assist the directors with the broader management of client work across the different practice areas of the firm.

We offer a mixed remuneration package which will include between 70-75% of fees generated from the candidate’s own client work, as well as an element of target based profit sharing from the additional management and client development roles we envisage.

We advise across a wide range of sectors, supporting clients on the legal and commercial issues that arise throughout the lifecycle of their businesses and investments.

Our practice is particularly well established in the energy sector, including renewable and nuclear energy, where we advise on project structuring, financing, regulatory frameworks and operational arrangements. Our integrated model—combining legal expertise with in-house technical specialists—provides clients with a distinctive perspective on complex energy and infrastructure matters.
