Job summary

Eurofins is seeking a Senior Instrumentation Specialist to lead maintenance, calibration, qualification, and troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation in regulated environments. You will partner with lab, quality, and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement and instrument lifecycle management.

The role requires strong calibration/maintenance experience, GMP/GxP familiarity, and ability to mentor staff while advancing instrument reliability and compliance across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Maintain compliance with quality systems and regulatory requirements.
• 8+ years’ experience supporting laboratory instrumentation in regulated environments.
• Experience developing and executing validation protocols and test scripts.
• Strong ability to investigate non-routine instrument issues and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced maintenance, calibration, qualification, troubleshooting, and repair of laboratory instrumentation.
• Ensure equipment remains validated and compliant through preventative maintenance and routine testing.
• Develop, execute, and document instrument validations, investigations, and technical assessments.
• Support implementation and validation of new instrumentation and technologies.
• Author and review technical documentation including procedures, validation protocols, reports, and scripts.
• Provide mentorship and training to laboratory and engineering staff.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Drive process improvements focused on instrumentation performance and productivity.
