Job summary

Engenda Group in Falkirk is seeking a Senior Instrument Engineer to support EPC project delivery across FEED to Detailed Design and into project execution.

The role requires FEED and Detailed Design exposure, instrumentation systems knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients within a long-term contract environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Instrument Engineer in industrial, process, petrochemical or energy sectors.
• Experience delivering FEED and Detailed Design for EPC projects.
• Knowledge of instrumentation systems, control philosophies, and related engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Instrument Engineering support across FEED and Detailed Design phases.
• Prepare, check and approve specifications, datasheets, schedules, and reports.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to develop fit-for-purpose designs.
• Participate in HAZOP studies and design reviews with clients.
• Provide technical expertise throughout project execution and delivery.
• Ensure activities comply with standards, codes and project requirements.

Engenda Group is currently recruiting a skilled and experienced Senior Instrument Engineer to support our EPC project delivery operations based in Falkirk.

This position is ideally suited to an engineer with significant exposure to both Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and Detailed Design activities, who enjoys collaborating within a multidisciplinary team environment. Our engineers support clients throughout the complete project lifecycle, from feasibility and conceptual studies through to detailed engineering and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Instrument Engineering support across FEED and Detailed Design phases.
• Prepare, check and approve engineering documentation, including specifications, datasheets, schedules and technical reports.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline engineering teams to develop effective and fit-for-purpose design solutions.
• Participate in HAZOP studies, design reviews and technical discussions with clients.
• Provide technical expertise throughout the execution and delivery stages of projects.
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with applicable standards, codes and project requirements.

About You
